Nēwo-Yōtina Friendship Centre
The Purpose of the Nēwo Yōtina Friendship Centre is to uplift and empower the Regina community by meeting immediate needs, celebrating Indigenous culture, and fostering inclusive connections among all people. Through culturally relevant programs, holistic supports, and community engagement, the Centre exists to strengthen individual well-being and build a more connected, resilient society
Our services
We serve breakfast 7 days a week and lunch 5 days a week (Monday to Friday).
Drop in centre
Access to a public washroom, public phone, photocopy, fax, and printing services, computer for essential use, coffee, and toast are served daily, hot lunch is served once per week.
Wellness Programs
Providing emotional, spiritual, physical, and mental support to Indian residential school survivors (IRSS), their families, and communities through programming and case management.
Housing Support
Helping individuals and families find and maintain safe, stable housing through advocacy, case management, and ongoing support.
Wâhkôhtowin Harm Reduction
Offering culturally grounded, judgment-free supports that promote safety, wellness, and healing for individuals experiencing substance use challenges.
Youth and family programs
Providing safe, supportive programming that helps youth and families build confidence, strengthen relationships, and build life skills.
Health and healing programs
Supporting emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual wellness through culturally grounded care and community-based healing programs.
Community outreach
Walking alongside community members by helping navigate systems, access resources, and receive compassionate support during times of need.
Cultural and language programs
Creating opportunities to reconnect with Indigenous culture, language, teachings, ceremony, and traditional ways of knowing.
